An AI light sculpture that responds to stories about objects placed on it.
Ben <right) is a double master’s student at Imperial College London and the Royal College of Art. Prior to this, he worked as a Software Engineer and UX/UI Designer at Dendra, a biodiversity-tech company that leverages swarms of seeding drones to restore ecosystems and monitor biodiversity at scale. He also founded and managed a company focused on improving communication between local governments and their constituents. Ben has led product design teams on projects ranging from kitchen shelving to a standing device for individuals with paraplegia, worked as a custom furniture maker in a design woodshop, and as a control systems engineer at a chemical plant.
Dolores (left) is a graduate student in the Global Innovation Design (GID) program from Keio University, Japan, currently studying as an exchange student at Imperial College London and the Royal College of Art. Previously, she worked as a game designer at NetEase and FunPlus, focusing on gameplay mechanics, narrative design, and quest creation for RPG games. Dolores is a curious and detail-oriented creator who enjoys exploring and building engaging experiences. Her background in media design drives her interest in blending technology with audiovisual and tactile arts. She has also worked on music planning for large-scale RPG mobile games and managed social media accounts with over a million views.
Isaac (centre) is a postgraduate student at Imperial College London and Royal College of Art studying MA/MSc Innovation Design Engineering. Prior to this, Isaac founded and still runs a social-impact, retail-goods startup. Isaac describes himself as curious, empathetic, intellectual and pragmatic. His professional background is in Business (qualified as a chartered accountant aged 22). His engineering background thus far has been product & software (coding websites as a child and entering several product design competitions). His creative inclinations have afforded him many experiences in fashion, art & music environments
