INTERPLAY23 was an interdisciplinary UK National Competition on ‘kinetic design’ for students of UK Creative Courses.
ROUND 1 resulted in eight shortlisted £1K AWARDS and six Commendation Awards.
The final INTERPLAY23 £8K AWARD went to “URBAN ELEGANCE” – a whimsical pedestrian crossing design concept by Joseph Jones and Holly Souza-Newman.

Major Funded Awards
Ten projects received Awards of £1K at ROUND 1 that were exhibited at the Royal Society of Sculptors, London in December 2023, when one project was given an £8K Award to develop it.
Six projects were given Commendation Awards at ROUND 1 for individual excellent features and exhibited at the Royal Society of Sculptors, London in December 2023
Six projects were selected from a Cyber-Physical Workshop of RCA/IMPERIAL for their high standard of creativity and were also exhibited at the December 2023 Exhibition.
