Matthew Woodham
Matthew Woodham is an artist and experience designer interested in the human relationship with and influence on the systems of nature. His educational background in cognitive neuroscience has expanded to the study of processes and dynamics throughout a broad array of natural systems, with particular interest in the ‘isomorphic’ structures in complex systems. He builds sculptures, machines and creates real- time, interactive environments
He graduated from MA Information Experience Design (2023) at the Royal College of Art. He exhibited at the ‘Vibrant Matters’ Digital Design Showcase festival at the V&A (2023), and previous exhibitions include Illuminar at ArtCore, Derby, UK (2022) and Sensing Systems, Bonington Gallery, Nottingham, UK (2020). He has worked extensively in music and audio- visual events, including creating live shows and video for musicians including Throwing Snow and Lone, and performing at festivals such as L.E.V in Gijon, Spain and Re-Textured at Printworks, London, UK
