Gruffydd graduated with a degree in mechanical engineering, then spent a year working onnSquaser, a line sensor he invented for the sport of squash, which was used in professional tournaments. He joined the joint Innovation Design Engineering (IDE) masters programme at the Royal College of Art and Imperial in 2024. He is interested in exploring how technologies can create new immersive experiences. In his time off he reads and plays squash.

Having always been interested in where technology and art meet, Yacob decided to join the Innovation Design Engineering (IDE) programme at Royal College of Art and Imperial in 2024. Professionally, Yacob has spent some time in digital product management, where he finds himself the happiest when he can create impact through product. In his leisure time,nyou can find him dabbling in creating art pieces that you can interact with and that imagines alternative futures
